Preparation

First, we assign you your own personal International Relocation Consultant.  Your experienced and helpful consultant personally orchestra’s each step of your relocation.  This includes counseling, technical expertise, and answering any questions you may have.  In addition, your consultant will provide you with a timely, accurate quote including an explanation of the expectations, deliverables, timing and costs involved.

Next, we will assign you a personal Relocation Coordinator, a helpful, experienced person who:

Personally orchestrates every part of your relocation

Has years of training and experience in the art of international relocation

Serves as a counselor, technical expert, and advocate

Your Relocation Coordinator will phone you within 24 hours of your decision to move with us, assuring every detail and every possibility have been carefully thought through.

Packing/Loading

Reliable sends highly skilled international packing personnel to carry out your move.  Our packers have been trained to use specific international techniques to insure your items are secure during transit. 

The quality of the packing of your items is second to none:

Cartons are double and even tripled-walled

Your furniture is carefully wrapped and extra cushioned with our multi-papered blankets, to insure maximum safety

Personal belongings are expertly packed with particular care for delicate items

Additional protection is provided with crates, acid-free tissue, bubble wrap and polystyrene chips.

Clearing Customs

Due to heightened security concerns, customs have become increasingly complicated.   Reliable Van & Storage is aware of these complications and your Relocation Coordinator is here to provide you with the expertise and knowledge that will help guide you through this process.

Each Country has its own restricted items.  To avoid problems with clearance, we provide you with custom documents that are included in the information packets at the start of your move, along with a list of items prohibited from entry into your destination country.

Your Relocation Coordinator will help you with the completion of all required documents and forward them to Allied International’s destination agent.  The destination agent, in turn, will verify that your information is correct and complete, before passing your documents on to the customs broker.
